๐ What is it?
This screen assesses immune markers and allergens that may contribute to skin inflammation, helping guide diagnosis and treatment of eczema and various dermatitis types.
๐งช What does it measure?
- Allergen-specific IgE antibodies (for allergic eczema)
- Total IgE and eosinophil count (markers of allergic inflammation)
- Sometimes patch testing for contact allergens

- Results help identify triggers like allergens or irritants
- Skin patch testing often used alongside blood tests for contact dermatitis
โ Why might I need it?
You may be advised if you have:
- ๐ค Chronic or recurrent eczema/dermatitis

- ๐ Poor response to standard treatments
- ๐ฟ Unexplained skin inflammation or rash

- Atopic eczema

- Blood sample for IgE and inflammatory markers
- Skin patch tests applied on the back for 48 hours (if needed)
